Founded by Anders Lorenzen in 2012, A greener life, a greener world is a progressive environmental news website with a focus on climate change and all the areas it impacts. We produce news, opinions, analysis, and reflections and have a host of contributors across the world. It features local and global environmental news stories as well as showcase solutions and seeks to stimulate debate, discussion and idea generation.
We accept that the issue of climate change has been heavily politicised and is frequently seen as political a problem between the left and the right. Whilst so far the majority of our editorials will be perceived to be on the left side of politics, it does not mean we are a left-leaning blog, it just reflects the fact that the left has the most news-worthy climate-friendly policies.
Part of our core mission is to tell green stories from all corners of the world (which might have been neglected in conventional media), spread ideas, stimulate debate, debates that we encourage from all corners of the earth, all sides of the political spectrum, from all industries and across all faiths.
In 2018 we were listed in Vuelio’s Top Ten Green Blogs, and in 2016 we were the Highly Commended blog in the green category in the UK Blog Awards.
We do, however, not want to give space or promote the idea of climate denialism; we believe science has won on this issue, and climate deniers are a dying breed.
