As we continue to grow in visitors, we are looking for a part-time volunteer SEO writer and researcher.

This would suit a student, an entry-level applicant or someone exploring a career change.

This position has no educational requirement, though a passion and interest in sustainability are essential.

Requirements

• A passion and interest in sustainability and or the various sub-areas it includes
• The ability to, on average, dedicate between 3-5 hours per week

Desirable qualities

• A general understanding of sustainability definitions
• A general knowledge of climate science and frameworks
• A general understanding of energy systems
• Good communication skills
• A basic knowledge of SEO
• A basic knowledge of social media strategies and platforms
• A basic knowledge of web content
• A basic knowledge of CSS software such as WordPress

Responsibilities

• News research
• Investigative research
• Article writing
• Article research
• Keyword research
• SEO optimisation
• On-page optimisation
• Off-page optimisation
• Data analysis, reporting and tracking
• Craft content based on current trends across a variety of demographics
