Esteemed veteran news anchor at the UK’s Channel Four News, has asked why climate change has barely featured in the UK general election.

In episode 11 of his YouTube election series, Mr. Snow asks why this enormously important issue is being neglected by party leaders in such a critical year for action on climate change. He is referring to the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris at the end of this year, where world leaders are expected to sign a global climate deal, for the first time ever.

Mr. Snow highlighted that despite the fact all three main party leaders signed a joint pledge promising to tackle climate change earlier this year, other issues such as the National Health Service (NHS) and the economy have been dominating the campaign trail.

The people of Britain head to the polls this Thursday (7th of May).
