In pictures: New York City records the largest march on climate change ever

As the world mobilised on climate action on Saturday and Sunday with 2,700 climate rallies having been planned across the world, New York City stole the show with orchestrating the biggest march on climate change the world has ever seen. Organisers said that conservative estimates of the turnout are around the 300,000 mark, but the number could be as high as 400,000.
