In our efforts to decarbonise the economy, something has been left out of the debate if you ask Steve Glover, founder of the British Hemp Company which launched in early February in the UK.
Steve and I caught up earlier this month and discussed, amongst other things, why the company decided to launch during the pandemic, what the sustainable properties of hemp are, what process is from harvesting to supply chain, and how hemp could hold a big role in the world’s decarbonisation efforts and why people have been ignoring it for too long.
Steve also explained how many different usess hemp has, extending far beyond just as a food product which is probably what it is currently best known for, and we talked about his mission for the British Hemp Company.
